Dr. Francis received his undergraduate degree from Albion College in 1984, and his medical degree from Wayne State University in 1988.  He complete his Pediatric Residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 1991.  He served an additional year as Chief Pediatric Resident until 1992.  

He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Dr. Francis is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Wayne State University and Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He is on the medical staff at St. John Hospital & Medical Center and Beaumont Hospital Grosse Pointe.

In 1992, along with Dr. Michelle D. Foster, he established Northpointe Pediatrics, P.C.  He believes in treating all patients just like they were his own family.
